Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Security Officer Lead - to join our - team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary: The Security Officer Lead provides direct operational leadership for site level Security Operations and performs all duties of a Senior Security Officer with expanded leadership responsibilities. This role assigns and coordinates daily work, leads responses to major incidents, ensures adherence to policies and procedures, and serves as the onsite leader when multiple officers are present. Lead Officers act as a critical communication link between Security Leadership and frontline staff, reinforcing expectations, operational priorities, and professional standards. This position emphasizes HealthPartners values of excellence, integrity, compassion, and partnership while supporting a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, colleagues, and property.

Work Schedule: FTE 1.0, 40 hours per week, 12 hour shifts (1800 to 0600) rotating two week schedule. 80.5 hours every two weeks & every other weekend.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma

AND

At least two (2) years of experience working in HealthPartners Security

OR

A two-year degree in a relevant field, OR a relevant certification, OR equivalent experience in healthcare security, public safety, or emergency repose.

Licensure / Registration / Certification:

Valid, unrestricted driver's license

IAHSS Advanced Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supervising or coordinating teams

Experience in training program delivery

Knowledge of Joint Commission and Environmental of Care Standards.
