As a Certified Armed Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to maintain a safe and secure environment for the students and staff at various elementary schools within the ISD. Ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors on the premises. Conduct regular patrols and maintain constant vigilance of the premises. Respond to emergencies quickly and professionally, escalating to local law enforcement as necessary. Detect suspicious activities and manage crowd control during school events and functions. Utilize security equipment and tools to maintain law and order. Conduct investigations and prepare incident reports. Maintain a visible presence to deter unlawful actions. Assist with evacuations, lock-downs, and other emergency procedures. Provide first aid assistance as required. Coordinate with school administration, staff, and local law enforcement agencies. Comply with all legal and organizational regulations regarding armed security. |
