Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, waiting areas, and other assigned locations to help support authorized access, visitor direction, and adherence to site policies and post instructions.
• Assist with de-escalation support, report writing, and coordination with staff and/or first responders during medical, behavioral, and other security-related incidents as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
