As a Security Officer Licensed Perimeter Patrol in Piscataway, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a premier retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with guests and team members while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a luxury retail environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, sales areas, stockrooms, employee areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Assist with maintaining a welcoming, professional environment while helping to deter unauthorized activity, theft-related concerns, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
