As a Security Officer Lobby Ambassador in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, badge processes, and security-related communications. You will help maintain an orderly environment, respond to routine inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at a front desk within an industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and contractor credentials, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Answer phones, direct guests to appropriate contacts or areas, and provide clear information regarding facility access requirements.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess at least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
