As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while managing access, assisting visitors, and supporting security-related procedures. You will use strong communication and customer service skills to help maintain an orderly environment and respond to concerns with integrity and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution reception area by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests in accordance with established access-control procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, visitor logs, access-control systems, and other assigned security-related equipment; report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and notification procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident documentation while providing a professional front-desk presence for Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
