As a Security Officer Patrol Operations Associate in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a caring, people-first environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, dock, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, drivers, and deliveries, supporting badge checks, visitor processing, and other security-related screening procedures as directed by site policy.
  • Support loss prevention and property protection efforts by observing trailer yards, loading areas, and high-traffic spaces, and reporting suspicious behavior, damaged barriers, and/or operational issues that could impact the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
