Security Officer - Luxury Store

As a Security Officer - Luxury Store in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong customer service, communication, and teamwork while bringing a reliable, agile, innovative approach and acting with integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, sales floor, entrances, exits, stockroom areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and assist with loss prevention awareness by reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access.
• Support retail operations during opening, closing, peak traffic periods, and/or special events by maintaining a visible presence and communicating with site contacts regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
