As a Security Officer Main Lobby Desk in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will remain a visible presence, greet visitors, manage access, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor lobby and front desk activity, greet arrivals, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to document entry and exit activity according to property guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to property management and/or emergency contacts when appropriate.
- Support day-to-day front desk operations by answering phones, assisting with directions, handling inquiries, and completing reports related to security-related events and unusual activity.
- Help to maintain awareness of building access points, deliveries, and visitor traffic while providing a professional presence at a stationary front desk post.
Minimum Requirements:
- Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
