As a Security Officer Medical Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Healthcare Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, de-escalating routine interactions when appropriate, and documenting incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in a clear and timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 2+ years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
