As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a construction-site location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $21.16 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a construction location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the construction site, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other designated locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor site access by observing and reporting visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document and report observed conditions, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
