What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support access control practices for restricted areas within a technology-focused location.
• Assist with badge or credential checks, monitor cameras and/or alarm indicators, and communicate routine updates, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
