As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Full Time in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related responsibilities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout building interiors, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and document daily activities, incidents, and security-related concerns in required reports.
- Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with crowd management and/or access restrictions, and helping occupants and visitors during disruptions or evacuations as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
