As a Security Officer Morning Patrol in Cabazon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a high-end retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this dynamic role, you will support a welcoming atmosphere through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while helping protect people, property, and daily operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities appropriate for a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related matters and notifying site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, exits, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for unusual behavior, policy violations, and operational issues such as unsecured doors, damaged property, and/or hazards, and report observations to management or Allied Universal leadership.
• Support retail loss prevention efforts by observing patron and employee activity, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and helping with crowd flow during busy shopping periods and special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
