Residential Security Officer


Location: 175 Temple St, Newton, MA 02465
Schedule: Monday to Friday 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Shift: Mid-shift
Pay Rate: $23.00 hourly

 Job Description:

As a Dedicated Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the community, client assets, and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol the property on foot, walking multiple flights of stairs throughout each shift
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any incidents or maintenance concerns
  • Restrict unauthorized access and engage with the public in a confident manner
  • Write detailed reports of daily activities and incidents
  • Respond promptly to emergencies or alarms
  • Ensure all building access points are secure


Requirements :

  • Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain on foot for extended periods and conduct frequent patrols
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong observational and communication skills
  • Comfortable addressing individuals and setting boundaries professionally
