As a Security Officer Office Entry Access Screening in Towson, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet systems as needed, you will support a welcoming environment while working with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document observations, incidents, and policy violations.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
