As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a government utility location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance-related observations according to post instructions.
- Support emergency response activities by assisting with evacuations, traffic direction, and/or restricted area control in accordance with site procedures and direction from supervisors.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
