Pay Rate: $11.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, associates, and delivery drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting security-related concerns and/or unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Screen incoming guests, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with location procedures, directing traffic flow and helping to support orderly access for employees and authorized personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including gates, parking areas, and exterior access points, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
