As a Security Officer - Overnight Residential Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will also support residents and guests with strong customer service and communication while bringing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values to every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, observe for unusual conditions, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property-related concerns to appropriate contacts.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and supporting access control and community rules at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
