As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and bring Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift while working with teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.91 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Support access control, visitor processing, and incident reporting functions while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
