Pay Rate: $18.30 - $19.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at utility facilities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and access-control exceptions accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
