You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism, and communicate clearly while responding to site needs. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, help maintain orderly movement throughout the facility, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
