As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support public-facing operations with professional communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to law enforcement personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government facilities, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and hazards to designated personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
