Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working as part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.72 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout shopping areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control practices, observe visitor activity, and/or address concerns in a professional manner.
• Assist with documenting security-related incidents, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
