Pay Rate: $23.36 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities, as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct individuals in accordance with facility policies.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access control areas, entry gates, parking areas, and facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Follow chemical and petrochemical facility protocols, including required personal protective equipment requirements, restricted-area procedures, and reporting expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
