Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assist with access control activities, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
  • Complete routine reports and documentation related to incidents, patrol activity, and/or policy observations in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • The ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
  • The ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
