You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and tenants, and provide clear communication and exceptional customer service. Using computers or tablets as needed, you will document activity and work collaboratively with the team while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and tenant spaces as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns; document observations and communicate issues to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, traffic flow, and other customer service needs while helping to deter unauthorized activity at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
