As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors. Through a visible presence, routine security-related observations, and exceptional customer service, you will help deter incidents while supporting daily operations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, issue visitor and contractor badges, maintain entry records, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, delivery, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures; communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, employee entrances, visitor areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
