Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and media location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a fast-paced technology and media environment.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through the proper channels and documenting security-related activity as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, collaboration spaces, lobbies, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access in accordance with location protocols, and report irregularities, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues to site leadership.
- Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal personnel, client contacts, and/or emergency responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
