As an Unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.86 / Hour

Verification of this clearance will be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening process. • Alarm Panel Experience (B202):familiarity with alarm panel systems allows me to respond effectively to security alerts and manage emergency protocols.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): I am proficient in utilizing various software and applications, which enhances my ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): delivering exceptional customer service, understanding that effective communication and problem-solving are key to client satisfaction.
• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):demonstrate prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee and visitor access badges.
• CPR Certification (B205):

Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification The certification must be current and not expired at the time of application.

• Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123):A valid driver's license is mandatory for positions that require driving. Candidates must comply with the AU Driver Policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation in accordance with established policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
