As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. This driving post includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and utility-related infrastructure to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a professional security-related presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Guard card is required. 
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
