As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. Pay Rate: $21.84 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a transportation-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking areas, access points, pedestrian walkways, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access in accordance with site procedures, provide directions or assistance as needed, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, parking-related disputes, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
