As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a critical utility location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving position calls for strong communication, customer service, and integrity as you respond to security-related concerns and work collaboratively with the team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at utility facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
