Position SummaryAs a Security Officer / Patient Concierge, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment throughout the medical office. In addition to ensuring the safety and security of the facility, you will provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients, assisting with wayfinding, and offering physical assistance to elderly or mobility-impaired patients entering and exiting the building when needed. The ideal candidate is approachable, observant, compassionate, and committed to creating a safe and positive experience for every patient.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients, visitors, and vendors professionally.Provide directions and assist patients throughout the office.Maintain a visible security presence.Monitor entrances, exits, waiting areas, and parking lots.Ensure only authorized individuals access restricted areas.Respond to disturbances, emergencies, or safety concerns.Assist with de-escalating difficult situations.Escort patients, visitors, or staff when needed.Conduct routine security rounds.Complete incident reports.Assist elderly, disabled, or mobility-impaired patients entering and exiting the building.Assist with wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and other mobility aids when appropriate.Escort patients to and from vehicles when needed.Monitor entrances/exits for fall hazards.Assist with opening and securing the office.QualificationsValid New Jersey SORA License.Valid driver's license.Reliable transportation.High school diploma or GED.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Professional appearance.Ability to remain calm under pressure.Ability to safely assist patients with limited mobility.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and provide light physical assistance throughout the day.Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.Background check required.Preferred QualificationsHealthcare or hospital security experience.CPR/First Aid certification.Customer service or concierge experience.Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.BenefitsCompetitive payPaid Time OffHealth, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k)Paid HolidaysCareer growth opportunities
