As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a patrol professional at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, respond to site concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help to control access, observe daily activity, and report unusual conditions, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
- Support property operations by assisting with visitor directions, reporting hazards or service issues, and completing required logs, reports, and other site-related documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
