As an Allied Universal Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, verify access permissions as directed, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by assisting with incident reports, following post orders, and communicating clearly with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
