As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation in Suffolk, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, assist with traffic flow during busy periods, and report unauthorized access, policy violations, or security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and appropriate store personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
