Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, provide a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.76 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, shoppers, tenants, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe foot and vehicle traffic to help to identify suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related concerns, then report findings to the appropriate contact.
• Assist with security-related inquiries, directions, and general assistance at the location while maintaining a visible presence and supporting order throughout the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
