As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in St Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support access control and customer service needs. Pay Rate: $19.48 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, directing visitors and/or contractors in accordance with site protocols and visitor management practices.
  • Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, observing environmental conditions, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
