As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Lumberton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, communicate with professionalism, and support daily operations with teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor high-traffic areas, assist with access and crowd flow, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and store activity, helping to address disruptions, and communicating security-related issues with site leadership and/or local authorities when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
