As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in Edison, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail and entertainment location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the entertainment venue, retail areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe guest and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support crowd management, closing procedures, and high-traffic periods by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with direction, de-escalation, and general security-related support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
