What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related activities within a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas, verifying credentials and reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations through proper channels.
- Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with evacuations and/or restricted access procedures, and providing clear information to supervisors and public agency representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
