Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support residents and guests through strong customer service and communication while bringing our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and shared spaces to help support access control practices, observe guest and resident activity, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior through proper channels.
• Complete routine reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly during shift changes regarding ongoing issues, patrol findings, and/or resident service needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
