Employees must receive yearly re-certification).LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATIONRequired: BLS or Heart SaverJOB FUNCTIONS\u00b7 Performs one to one and close observation of patients in a safe and professional manner in collaboration with Patient Care Services.\u00b7 Conducts interior and exterior patrols to inspect the grounds for criminal activity, and health and safety hazards.\u00b7 Provides one to one patient observation for at risk patients throughout the organization to keep the patient and others safe.\u00b7 Records and reports security and safety related incidents.\u00b7 Provides safety escorts upon request.\u00b7 Enforces parking regulations and assists with traffic control.\u00b7 Investigates lost or stolen items.\u00b7 Investigates alarms and emergency calls immediately.\u00b7 Reacts to emergency codes expediently to follow through on the situation until parties are safe or the situation is resolved.\u00b7 Responds to customer service requests in a timely manner with an emphasis on improvingthe patient experience.\u00b7 Supports shuttle services in daily duties, inclement weather and emergency situations by driving employees as needed.\u00b7 Transports bodies and body parts to the morgue, filing essential documentation timely and accurately. Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.87The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
