    Job Title: Security Officer

    Employment Type: Pool as needed

    Shift: Varied Shifts and weekends

    Location: St. Mary Medical Center

    Position Purpose

    • The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property. Is responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures.

    As a Security Officer you will:

    • Maintains safety practices in the area of his/her assignment.

    • Has oversight of the SOC (Security Operations Center)

    • Conducts the Duties and responsibilities associated with the Metal Detector.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school graduate or equivalent required

    • Previous hospital-based security position preferred

    • Valid Driver's License in good standing required

    • Fingerprints and Child Abuse Clearance required upon hire.
