As a Security Officer Radio Communications in Torrance, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and help support timely responses to security-related needs. This role blends observation, technology, and customer service while keeping you connected to daily operations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor communications, receive calls, and dispatch the appropriate personnel for routine matters, incidents, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Track site activity, maintain dispatch logs, document incidents, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors, control room personnel, and/or local responders as needed.
• Support access control and entry activity by verifying information, coordinating authorizations, and reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, with awareness of industrial operations, restricted areas, and changing conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
