Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by greeting students, staff, faculty, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk while following site-specific security-related procedures and visitor protocols.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials when appropriate, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in required logs.
• Answer phones, assist with directions, and support front desk communication needs while helping to address questions, concerns, and/or routine requests in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and completing required reports.
• Observe activity in the lobby and other assigned entry areas through in-person presence and/or camera systems, helping to identify unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
