Security Officer - Residential Community Surveillance

As a Security Officer - Residential Community Surveillance, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, residents, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, common areas, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to government-related facilities, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident documentation, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support a professional, service-oriented environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
