As a Security Officer - Residential Site in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access credentials, monitor entry activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. You will provide exceptional customer service, use technology to support daily operations, and help maintain a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Staff the front desk in a professional, welcoming manner; greet visitors, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and direct individuals to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from the front desk; report unusual activity, access concerns, and/or equipment issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, package, and/or incident logs while supporting a professional lobby environment and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
