As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Review in Indianapolis, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and applicable screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document deliveries, pickups, and/or visitor activity to help support security-related operations at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting suspicious conditions, access issues, and/or policy concerns in a logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
